How to Increase Follower Base on Instagram
How to increase your followers base on Instagram?
Instagram is one of the most popular platforms these days. It is not only used for private individuals but also for companies and businesses. Whether you want to focus on your private account or your business account, there are a few universal rules to help you increase your followers. Of course, this is not a step-by-step guide that will take you to 10,000 followers in a week, but these are helpful tips to help you reach a larger audience.
1. Define your target audience
The first piece of advice is to define your target audience. A target group is a defined group of people who are most likely to want to use your product or service and if you are creating a personal profile, these are the people you want to attract. To define your target group, you should focus on what age your audience is, what interests they have, where they live, what gender they are. When you focus on a business account, you can also focus on what kind of income your target group has. Defining your target audience will allow you to better prepare your content.
2. Be consistent
Being consistent means only one thing. You should add posts as often as possible. This does not mean that you should do it several times a day. Set a few days a week when you want to add posts and do it regularly. To help you with this you can prepare your posts in advance and use special apps that will add posts automatically. Our favorite apps are Hootsuite and Sprout Social. If you have a business account and it is linked to your Facebook page you can use the Meta Business Suite.
3. Interact with community
Another tip is to interact with your audience. You can do this in several ways such as following similar accounts to yours, liking their posts and even commenting on them. Remember to reply to comments that you receive under your post. Also try to reply to private messages. By using these methods, your audience will feel part of the community you are creating, and it will give them a sense of belonging.
4. Use bult-in Instagram tools
This advice is about using the tools available on Instagram to help you grow your profile. One of the more useful tools is the "sticker polls'' option in Instagram stories. This allows you to create polls and ask questions to your followers. You can also share the results. If you want to grow your profile faster you can also use the "boost post" option, it is a paid option but thanks to it you can choose your target group and promote your post on a larger scale. If you have a business profile, don't forget to set up a contact button, thanks to which you can provide your email address and phone number if you want your customers to contact you.
5. Create a unique style
Creating a unique style is about making your Instagram stand out from the rest. There is no ready-made recipe for this advice either, you must be creative. Use a unified color scheme and custom hashtags. Consider how you want your photos to be perceived, as minimalist or busy photos. Take advantage of the Instagram feed layout and most importantly, always be authentic!
6. Learn how Instagram algorithm work
This advice applies more to business accounts because these accounts have an "insights" option that allows them to see at what times their followers are most active and this is when it is most profitable to add posts. Instagram's algorithm also pays a lot of attention to regularly publishing photos and now to the new Instagram feature "reels". In this option you can create short videos (up to 60 seconds). Pay attention to how many times your photo has been saved, commented, and liked because these three options can make your photo reach a wider audience.
7. Collaborate with others
Another great way to gain followers on Instagram is to collaborate with others through partnerships or influencer campaigns. This will help your products and services reach a wider audience and start spreading word of mouth which is very important for your business. This advice also applies to personal accounts where you can try to establish collaborations with companies.
